Where would we be without the Internets? Seriously, you guys. What an awesome invention! We have nearly all of the worlds knowledge at our fingertips! Wikipedia and Google are amazing in this respect.
What about connection? I can email someone anywhere in the world and it will arrive in an instant. File transfers, personal websites, anything! The Internet is a level playing field. No one is better than anyone else (as long as Net Neutrality gets passed!).
Shopping? You can do almost all of your shopping online nowadays! Except for food. Actually I lied, that can be delivered to yo' face. Awesome.
Don't even get me started on entertainment value!
I feel like no one truly appreciates the Internet! We just use it as if it didn't just revolutionize our world! Everyone is united by one Internet. So cool. I wish I invented it.
This post has a totally different tone from my previous posts. I think it's from reading too many Dinosaur Comics.

Driving
Hai guise,
Here's something I think about a lot. I ponder things in the car often, so it's only appropriate. Basically it boils down to this question:
Why do people act so much differently while driving?
Think about it. How often do you see someone flip someone the bird while not driving? Likely not too often. Yet it's such a common thing to hear about giving someone/receiving the finger while driving. Why do we cut each other off? Tailgating? Speeding? Even someone who considers himself an upstanding citizen probably still speeds at least once in a while. What's up with road rage? It's unbelievably common: Why? I have found myself in really awkward situations when driving with someone and he/she is screaming at someone on the road.
Is there a psychological correlation between these things and something else? Is it a personality trait? That seems like a cop-out answer.
I don't know, maybe there's a simple answer. If so, please enlighten me!
Blognote (Yes I just used that word): You probably can't login using your blogspot name or anything, as I replaced the commenting system. It allows for threaded comments which I feel is better for discussion. You can login using your login from Facebook, Twitter or a couple other sites. That sentence was weird because I used login as a noun and verb.

Just Kidding
As it is one of the worst pieces of internet literature, I had to plagiarize The Penguin of Doom as my first post. It makes me want to do horrible things to my eyes. Sorry for doing that.
So you might be thinking a few things, such as, "Why is Joey starting a blog? Ugh he's so arrogant." or maybe, "NO ONE IS GOING TO READ THIS LOL" or, "The word 'blog' gives me a bad taste in my mouth." I know I'm thinking the lattermost one. Basically, the reason I'm trying this out is because I've enjoyed much of the discussion that goes on in the comments of my Facebook statuses/tweets. I wanted a better medium for discussion and sharing things with people, and I guess a blog is one of the best ways to do it. I've included something called DISQUS so that comments are arranged in a thread and encourage discussion! If I'm horribly mistaken about starting a blog, please inform me.
However, if no one ends up reading this, I guess that's cool too because then I'll just use this as a place to let my thoughts stew. I would prefer it if you read my posts though!
I'm going to try to avoid making this a Xanga or Livejournal, despite all temptations to. That means no laundry lists, rants, etc. I will try to keep the posts as thoughtful/interesting/humorous as possible.
I like jokes.
Sidenote: I'm still playing with the layout. It's been a while since I've done any HTML/CSS so bear with me while I try to imbue originality into the format. Also, is the "Photos" section on the ride sidebar working for anyone? It just looks white to me. I'll try to fix that.
